A team of international experts
The Investment Team is composed of Professionals with varying years of experience and is headed by Nevastar Finance’s three founding partners; Stanislas Rotman, Olivier Rouget and Ignace Rotman. The Investment Team forms the Investment Committee, which is ultimately responsible for top-down allocations across mandates
Stanislas Rotman (CFA, MBA, MD)
Stanislas worked as an Investment Professional in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs in New York, Zürich and London. Stanislas received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and holds an MBA in Finance from Cornell University (New York). He is a member of the CFA Institute and the UK Society of Investment Professionals (UKSIP). He is also a Doctor of Medicine and practiced surgery.
Ignace Rotman (MBA, MSc)
Ignace worked as an Investment Banker at Goldman Sachs concentrating on M&A, IPOs and other investor-related advisory roles. Formerly, he worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company counselling international businesses on corporate strategy. Ignace holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University (New York) and a Master of Science in Microelectronic Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL). Ignace was also a member of the Swiss Davis Cup tennis team.
Olivier Rouget (MBA, MA)
Olivier worked 15 years as an Investment Professional in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs in New York, Zürich and London, managing portfolios for some of the wealthiest families in Europe. Olivier was a member of the investment committee of the International Pension Plan of Goldman Sachs. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in Economics from the University of Geneva.
Guilherme Frering
Guilherme worked as a Private Banker at UBS in Switzerland between Zurich and Geneva focusing on investment solutions and client relationships. Prior to this he worked as an Investment Specialist focusing on portfolio allocation for wealth management clients. Guilherme holds an International Business degree from Regents College UK.
Anuar Utemuratov
Anuar joined Nevastar to support the investment team for the fixed income and equity fundamental analysis and stock selections. Before joining Nevastar, Anuar was President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of LLP QSR (representing the Burger King® brand in Kazakhstan), and is a Board Member at Forte Bank. Anuar also worked as an analyst in the investment banking division of JPMorgan Chase. Anuar graduated from the Hult International Business School in London.
Nicolas D’Ieteren
Philippe Lamblin (MBA, MA)
Philippe started his financial career at Morgan Stanley in 2000. More recently, he was the Chief Executive Officer and founder of PrivatSea Ltd., the “Lifestyle Family Office” where he dealt with ultra high net worth clients. He joined Nevastar in 2009 in order to help develop its Private Wealth and Family Office services. Prior to that, he served as a Lieutenant and Captain in the French Foreign Legion within the ranks of the 2nd Foreign Legion Parachute Regiment. He graduated from the French Military Academy of St Cyr and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
Bruno Mathieu
Bruno Mathieu spent 8 years as a partner and investment committee member of the private equity firm Balmoral Capital in London where his responsibilities included investing, board membership and portfolio company interim leadership. He was previously a senior partner at Marakon Associates, an international strategy consulting firm where he advised some of the world leading corporations and their executive teams, including Alcan (now Rio Tinto), Boots (now Alliance Boots), Diageo, Dow Chemicals, Reuters as well as on a pro bono basis INSEAD and The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Programme. He has lived and worked in NA, Europe and Asia. He is also on the board of Delta Plus Group (a NYSE/Euronext listed company). He holds an MBA from the Wharton School, a DESS/DJAI (MA) in International Law from the Institut du Droit des Affaires in Aix-en-Provence, and a BA from Kedge Business school (formerly Sup de Co Marseille).
Philippe Peirs (MSc, MA)
Philippe has a wealth of experience in real estate corporate finance and investment management. From 2013 to 2016, he worked as Head of International Real Estate Business Development at the La Française AM / Forum Partners Group. Prior to that Philippe had spent twenty years with Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, first as an Equity Capital Markets then as an Investment Banker. His last positions held were Managing Director, UK & Northern Europe Real Estate Coverage and Head of the Private Equity Fundraising Group.
In 1992-1993, Philippe served as a Second Lieutenant, Tank Platoon Leader, in the Regiment de Marche du Tchad, French Army. He graduated from ESCP Business School and holds a Master of Science in Finance from London Business School.
David Cochrane
David worked for twenty years in investment banking, commencing in Australia with Potter Warburg Ltd in 1983, then moving to Hong Kong and London with SG Warburg for six year periods in each location, In 2004, after a one year sabbatical with his family in the Haute Savoie in France, moved across to wealth management in Geneva with UBS, developing and maintaining a largely Asia Pacific client base. David is from New Zealand where he studied Arts/Law at Canterbury University.
Pedro Hernandez
Prior to joining Nevastar, Pedro served as Managing Director at Rothschild & Co. for 10 years, where he held dual roles as Head of Family Office and Wealth Planning and Market Head for Latin America. In these roles, Pedro was instrumental in guiding ultra-high-net-worth families from around the world through complex wealth management, governance, and wealth planning challenges, ensuring the preservation and growth of their assets across generations. Pedro holds a law degree from the Universidad de las Américas in Mexico City and an LL.M in Banking, Corporate, Finance and Securities Law from Fordham University.
Giorgio Ambrosetti
For Giorgio, joining Nevastar Finance in 2020 marked an exciting next step in a career dedicated to guiding clients through complex wealth management needs. After over a decade at HSBC and Credit Suisse Private Banking in London, where he provided bespoke advisory to ultra-high and high-net-worth clients, trusts, corporates, and family offices, Giorgio sought a role where he could continue his commitment to client-centered solutions. Giorgio’s early experience spans Goldman Sachs and the International Finance Corporation in Paris, with formative years in NATO’s Allied Mobile Force Land as a Second Lieutenant with Italy's 3rd Alpine Regiment.
Giorgio is a Board member of a Luxembourg-based UCITS fund, serves as Treasurer for a UK charity supporting youth tennis in Ghana, and chairs Iyengar Yoga London. He holds an MBA from London Business School, an M.A. in International and Diplomatic Relations, and a B.A. in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan.
Anthony Blyweert
Anthony has over 10 years of experience in the fianancial industry. He started his career with European Fund Administration covering alternative funds in fund accoutning. Anthony then became a certified Risk Manager and he is now in charge of the Risk Management function. Anthony also graduated from Haute Ecole Robert Schuman in Accounting and Finance.
Philippe-José MASTIN
Philippe started his career as a Financial Auditor of Private Equity & Real Estate entities. After over 10 years of experience at EY and Mazars, he then joined Nevastar in 2022 and is now in charge of the Operations and Valuation functions. Philippe graduated from NEOMA Business School in Reims and holds a Master of Science in Internationl Management from Dublin City University.
Hugh Mitchell
Hugh started his career as a bond, equity and FX trader at Banque de Gestion Edmond de Rothschild in Monaco in 2003, before moving to portfolio management. He subsequently joined Nevastar Finance in London in 2006 and has worked as a Portfolio Manager with the group since then. He was born and raised in Belgium and graduated with a Master of Arts Honours degree in Management and German from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
Georgie Burke
Georgie started his career working on the commodity brokerage trading desk at BNP Paribas in London in 2006. Joined Nevastar in 2008 as a Middle Office manager, before moving to portfolio management. He has worked as a portfolio manager since 2017 and focuses on multi-asset client portfolios as well as NSF funds. Georgie was born and raised in England, and holds an Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Gregg Supravsky
Gregg is responsible for managing Nevastar’s equity portfolios, including conducting in-depth fundamental analysis and making stock selections. Since joining Nevastar in 2018, he has evolved from supporting the investment team with fixed income and equity analysis to focusing exclusively on equities in his current role. Before Nevastar, Gregg worked in the client advisory division at Bank Degroof Petercam in Brussels and as an Equity Capital Markets analyst at Swiss Life Private Banque in Paris. Originally from Belgium, he holds a BSc in Banking and International Finance and an MSc in Finance from Cass Business School.
Andrea Di Maria
Andrea joined Nevastar in 2021 as an Equity Analyst, where he is responsible for stock selection, fundamental analysis, and quantitative rebalancing for Nevastar Finance's Global Equity Funds. Prior to this, Andrea worked as an equity analyst at hedge fund ICAMAP Advisory in London, covering the listed real estate sector. Before that, he worked as an analyst on the quantitative desk of BlackRock Investment Management, also in London. Born and raised in France, Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Warwick. He is currently a CFA candidate.
Philip Mokuolu (CFA)
Philip Mokuolu brings over four years of investment management and capital markets expertise, with a focus on high-yield credit research. From 2021 to 2023, he was with Legal & General Investment Management, where he contributed across Multi-Asset Portfolio Management, Fundamental Credit Research, and Real Estate. His earlier roles include serving as a Capital Markets Analyst and later as a Fixed Income Analytics Product Quant at the London Stock Exchange Group. Philip earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the University of Bristol. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a CFA® Charterholder.
Jian Kun Ng
Jian Kun joined Nevastar in 2023. Previously, he held internships at Pinpoint Asset Management, Lombard Odier and Scotiabank. Jian Kun has a MSc in Financial Analysis from London Business School and a B.Soc.Sci (Hons.) from the National University of Singapore.
Leo Bailey
Leo is a senior member of the Private Markets Team. Since joining Nevastar back in 2016, he has been involved on over USD 1bn direct and indirect transactions across private equity and real assets. Leo is a voting member of the Private Markets Investment Committee. Prior to joining Nevastar, Leo worked in Consulting for two years advising global organisations in financial services, pharmaceuticals and consumer. Leo graduated from the European Business School with a 1st Class Bachelor degree with honours in Global Financial Management.
Mariana Kostova
Mariana joined Nevastar Finance in 2023, previously she gained valuable experience across the private market’s universe and real estate during her internships at MSCI Inc. and Savells Plc. Additionally, Mariana hods a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning & Real Estate from University College of London (UCL). This blend of academic and professional experience allows her to contribute effectively to the Private Markets team and Nevastar Finance’s future growth.
Jason Marais
Jason joined Nevastar Finance in 2018 as a Middle Office Analyst and was promoted to Operations Manager in 2023. He began his career at Maitland Group in South Africa, where he held various positions within the fund administration division before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2017. Originally from Cape Town, Jason holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch.
Giuliano Grosso Filho
With a solid foundation in financial management, Giuliano brings over a decade of expertise in the financial services sector. He holds a degree in Financial Management and an Executive MBA specialising in Financial Management from FGV/EBAPE, one of Brazil's most prestigious institutions.
Giuliano began his career in financial markets as a Private Banking Assistant at XP Investimentos, where he supported high-net-worth clients, cultivating a keen understanding of private banking dynamics. His role evolved into nearly eight years as an Investment Advisor at the same institution, where he provided strategic guidance and developed tailored investment solutions to meet clients’ complex needs.
Currently serving as a Financial Assistant at Nevastar Finance, he continues to leverage his client-centred expertise to support our investors across a range of processes, ensuring precision and responsiveness in every interaction.
Laura Priso
Laura is a dedicated Client Advisor Assistant with a background in finance and international business. She graduated from EMLV in Paris and holds a Master of Science in International Business from London South Bank University. With over six years of hands-on experience in due diligence, Laura began her finance career at BNP Paribas CIB in Paris, gaining invaluable insights into corporate banking. She now specialises in AML/KYC and client onboarding, bringing expertise and a meticulous approach to ensure compliance and streamline onboarding processes for our clients.
Mitchell Taht
Mitch holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Adelaide. With over five years of experience in the financial services industry, he began his career at Australian Executor Trustees in Corporate Actions before joining Nevastar. At Nevastar, Mitch spent three years as a Middle Office Analyst and has led the Middle Office team for the past two years.
Kriti Agrawal
Kriti is a dedicated Middle Office Analyst combining her technical expertise and finance to drive operational support. She holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Kent and a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management in India. Kriti launched her career at Bachat Plus in India, building a solid foundation in financial analysis. Now at Nevastar, she focuses on providing extensive support to the Front Office and Trading Desk through precise trade processing, reconciliation, and client reporting. With a certification in Python Coding, Kriti brings a unique edge in optimizing financial processes.
Aathif Akram
Aathif is a skilled finance professional with extensive experience in middle-office operations and fund administration. As a Middle Office Analyst at Nevastar Finance, he handles trade lifecycle processes, portfolio management support, client reporting, and reconciliation. Previously, He worked at HSBC as a Senior Fund Administrator where he excelled in fund accounting, NAV calculations, and client servicing for various investment funds. Aathif holds a Master’s degree in International Business Management with Finance, providing him with a strong understanding of global markets and Investments.
Rahul Boregowda
Rahul joined Nevastar Finance as a Middle Office and Operations Analyst, bringing a strong analytical foundation and hands-on experience in trade support, reconciliation, and middle-office operations across asset classes. Before Nevastar, Rahul started his career at the London Stock Exchange Group as operations Analyst, where he honed his expertise in trade life cycle management, OTCmarket data, and operational efficiency initiatives. Rahul holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Sheffield Hallam University, complementing his extensive practical experience with strong academic credentials. Rahul’s expertise and commitment to accuracy make him a valuable contributor to the success and growth of the Nevastar team.
Toni James
Toni joined Nevastar Finance in December 2023, bringing with her eight years of valuable experience from Primark. During her time there, Toni developed strong expertise in back-office operations, cash office management, and health and safety. Additionally, Toni holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science from London South Bank University. This blend of hands-on experience and academic credentials makes Toni a key asset to the Nevastar team, where she actively contributes to the company’s success and ongoing growth.
Kathleen Tan
Kathleen has a diversified background in the accounting and finance field. Her experience range from audit and public practice to the manufacturing industry.
She is well-versed in systems and processes for stream-lining business operations using software and analytical tools as well as managing cashflows, costs and budgets.
Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Business ( Accounting ) and a Graduate Diploma in Business Computing from Western Australia.
Virginie Mermet
Virginie joined Nevastar in 2015 as a Client Advisor Assistant bringing with her prior experience working in several Swiss banks. She later transitioning into compliance, where she gained hands-on experience in client relations and conformity procedures. With a strong focus on AML and KYC onboarding processes, Virginie has developed thorough knowledge of Swiss regulatory requirements and is committed to helping Nevastar maintain high compliance standards. Passionate about her work and Switzerland’s evolving regulatory landscape, she takes a careful approach to client due diligence and compliance. Virginie is dedicated to supporting Nevastar’s objectives and helping ensure smooth operations within an ever-changing regulatory environment.
Zita Leblais
Zita has over 20 years of experience, she started an international career in the hotel industry. She then joined Merrill Lynch, Monaco as an Assistant Financial Advisor and her last position held was as Senior Office Manager at Pharus Management Lux S.A. Zita also holds a diploma of higher education in accounting and business management.
Chloé Boutteville
Chloé started her career in Luxembourg, she gained hands-on experience in global fund distribution at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) during 3 years then expanded her compliance expertise at Lombard Odier and the European Investment Fund. After relocating to Montreal, Canada, she joined Maples Fund Services as a team leader in the Know Your Client (KYC) division. In this role, she managed a team dedicated to regulatory compliance and client due diligence, ensuring operational efficiency and upholding high compliance standards. Chloé holds a master’s degree in management and has built a well-rounded background in asset management, compliance, and team leadership.
Camille Bosurgi
Camille started her career in leading institutions with Caceis Bank, BNP Paribas and Credit Suisse. Camille has an extensive background in compliance, specialized in AML/KYC due diligence within an international financial environment. Camille gratuated from ISC Paris Business School and holds a Master’s Degree in Tax and Wealth Management.
Marion Fontaine
Marion joined in 2022 as a Junior Operations Manager at Nevastar Finance (Luxembourg) in the operations and risk team. Marion holds a bachelor’s degree of Accounting (2019 - 2022) from Haute Ecole Robert Schuman.
Simithi Keita
Simithi started her career in 2016 at Mazars Luxembourg and was promoted to manager in 2021. She is specialized in External Audits of Private Equity and Securitization Companies. Simithi joined Nevastar Finance in 2022 and is a member of the Operations and Valuation Team. She holds a Master Degree from Louvain School of Management (UCLouvain) in Management.
Cedric Bourdy
Cedric has international experience in finance that started in 2008 within the capital markets trading rooms of Société Générale, Engie Trading and Natixis—selling commodities, FX and interest rates derivatives in Paris and Singapore. Cedric then joined the Bank of Singapore. He spent nine years out of Singapore and Luxembourg, managing relations and providing investment advisory to independent wealth managers, family offices, and high/ultra-high net worth individual clients across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Cedric graduated with a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Bergen (Norway) and a Magister/MSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Bordeaux (France).
Corinne Fontaine
Corinne has an accounting background and she previously worked at European Fund Administration and RBC for over 20 years in fund accounting covering most strategies: UCITs, hedged funds and PERE. Corinne also graduated from Haute Ecole Blaise Pascale in option accounting.
