Roger O’Neil

Mr. O’Neil has been involved in the oil and gas industry for 45 years, first at Mobil Corporation where he held a number of international positions in Asia, Africa and Europe and eventually became Chairman of Mobil Oil Company Limited, London. He subsequently joined Statoil Group – the Norwegian national oil company – where he was Member of the Executive Board.
 
Mr. O’Neil was Chairman of the American Business Council in Singapore, Vice President of the UK Petroleum Industry Association and Vice President of the Institute for Petroleum(UK).
 
He has been and still is a board member of a number of energy and energy related companies such as Enterprise Oil Plc, Petrolera El Trebol (Argentina), Pearl Energy Ltd. (Singapore), Norwegian Energy Company (Noreco), Petroleum Geo-Services (Norway) and Borealis AS (Denmark).
 
He was a consultant to the World Bank and Senior Oil and Gas Advisor to Dresdner Kleinwort Wassertein. He has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from the Cornell University Johnson School of Business and sits on the School Advisory Board.
